Frequently Asked Questions

Step 1: You write the first draft (or even get AI to have a go at it). When you’re ready for us to review the content, simply upload the document into your private portal on our website. A comments box is provided for each document you upload to the portal, allowing you to provide any relevant details.

Step 2: We review, edit, and provide feedback according to the subscription package you have chosen.

Step 3: Upload the next job to your queue (you can add as many you want). You let us know which document you want reviewed next and we’ll get right on it.

In today’s market, you’ll need to pay a salary between $75,000 – $100,000 to hire a good copyeditor in-house. With Kind Word, you would only spend a maximum of $12,000-$36,000 a year (depending on your package) and have the ability to cancel or pause your subscription at any time.

Alternatively, you could use a freelance writer to review your content on a job-by-job basis. Freelancers are brilliant, but you’re dependent on their availability. The best ones are often booked up.

No limit. With a subscription, you can submit as many job requests as you like, and they will be delivered one at a time in the order of your self-managed queue. Depending on the number of documents you submit for review, we may get through everything within the month, or we may need to continue into the next month. You’ll be able to see live progress updates as we keep you in the loop.

Most jobs will be completed and returned to you within two business days. We will provide a detailed turnaround time for more complex job requests, as required.

We are not currently offering one-off projects. Instead, we work with our clients through an ongoing monthly subscription. This allows us to work with a smaller group of select clients in a more meaningful way where we are available to help when needed. Once you’ve signed up with us, you are free to pause or cancel your subscription anytime.

You will be able to set up quick and easy recurring credit card payments via Stripe.

Simply log into your Kind Word account and you will be able to manage your subscription at any time. You’ll be able to pause for however long you need, un-pause when you need us again, or cancel your subscription immediately. No notice period required. No penalties.

Once you have a subscription with us, you will be able to log in to your account and upload your documents directly through our secure portal.
